Looking Back at 2025: A Year of Growth, Grit, and Gratitude at DLB

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to look back at everything this year has brought our way - the work we’ve completed, the challenges we’ve overcome, and the incredible team and community that make DLB what it is.

This year our excavating crews were busy in the field - and they delivered in a big way. Together, they completed 6 pond repairs, helping customers restore shorelines, improve drainage, and protect their property. We installed 3 new driveways, making access safer and smoother for homeowners and businesses alike. Our crews also completed 5 culvert placements, helping prevent flooding and erosion while keeping roads and crossings safe. We introduced a new erosion-control technique using Flexamat, providing customers with even more durable and long-lasting solutions. And we tackled a couple of demolitions, parking lots as well as manholes and potholes, improving safety and accessibility for our communities. The work was hands-on, muddy, and often weather-dependent - but our crews showed up every single day ready to do it right.

Our concrete team stayed busy as well, pouring and installing pads, foundations, and structures that will serve our customers for years ahead. Whether the project was large or small, they tackled each pour with precision and pride.

Meanwhile, our drivers kept the wheels - and our communities - moving. They hauled aggregate across the region, supported farmers with crop hauling, and helped expand our flatbed and heavy-haul services. Once again, our drivers received some of the best field feedback and “reviews” from customers, and we are incredibly proud of the way they represent Brooks Hauling every day.

Behind all this work is a team that continues to grow and evolve. We added new positions this year and welcomed both seasoned professionals and new faces. Our excavating crew expanded significantly - and with that growth came stronger teamwork, better rhythm in the field, and a renewed sense of pride in the work we do. Our two mechanics continued to be the quiet heroes of the shop - keeping the fleet running, parts moving, and jobs on schedule.

Management Team

Our leadership team continues to guide the direction and heart of DLB:

  • David, President

  • Amanda, Finance Manager

  • Ashley, Logistics Manager

  • Phillip, Operations Manager

  • Brooke, Sales & Marketing

This year we also welcomed Dani, our Payroll and Billing expert, who has helped strengthen our systems and support our growing team. And we are grateful for the many new additions to our excavating crew - each one bringing new energy, skills, and commitment to the job.

And of course - our customers and community remain at the center of it all.
Brooks Hauling welcomed many new customers in 2025, while continuing to proudly serve our loyal returning customers who have trusted us year after year. Your support, referrals, and confidence in our work mean more than we can ever fully express.

When we look back at 2025, we see a year filled with new ideas, growth, change, loyalty - and yes, sometimes a little fear of the unknown. But we also see a team who showed up, worked hard, supported one another, and built something meaningful together.

To our employees, our customers, our partners, and our community - thank you. We’re proud of what we accomplished together this year, and we’re excited for what lies ahead.

Here’s to another year of building, hauling, serving, and growing - together.
